STACEY L. GREENE, CHESAPEAKE LODGING TRUST

Stacey Greene is Vice President of Design & Construction for Chesapeake Lodging Trust, a publically traded hospitality real estate investment trust (REIT) with 20 properties and over 6,000 rooms across eight states and the District of Columbia – all in the upscale to luxury market tier. In this capacity, Ms. Greene is responsible for the upgrade, renovation, and repositioning of all company owned and managed hotel properties nationwide. When not traveling, she offices at the company headquarters in Annapolis, Maryland.

KEMPER HYERS, STARWOOD CAPITAL GROUP

Kemper Hyers is responsible for design direction and project implementation for all brands launched by Starwood Capital Group. Prior to joining Starwood, Mr. Hyers served as Vice President of Design for Le Méridien and Sheraton brands at Starwood Hotels where he was responsible for all aspects of design for these brands. Before that, he served as Style Director for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, directing design and retail environment for home products for Martha Stewart Signature and Martha by Mail. Prior to that, he led all direct marketing channels at Crate and Barrel and before that ran his own interior design firm, Edward Kemper Design, for seven years.

TED JACOBS, STARWOOD HOTELS & RESORTS

Ted Jacobs is the Vice President of Global Design for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Jacobs was appointed to his current role in September 2009 and heads the studio responsible for the strategic positioning, evolution, design, and design direction for Starwood’s 250 luxury and design-driven hotels, including W, St. Regis and The Luxury Collection brands.

HELEN JORGENSEN, HOST HOTELS & RESORTS

Ms. Jorgensen, Vice President, Design & Procurement, is responsible for maximizing the value globally in design and FF&E expenditures for Development, Design & Construction, Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc., which is an S&P 500 and Fortune 500 company and is the largest lodging real estate investment trust and one of the largest owners of luxury and upper-upscale hotels. The Company currently owns 97 properties in the United States and 16 properties internationally totaling approximately 59,000 rooms. The Company also holds non-controlling interests in five joint ventures, including one in Europe that owns 18 hotels with approximately 6,200 rooms and one in Asia that has interests in four hotels in Australia and India. The Company partners with premium brands as well as independent brands in the operation of properties in over 50 major markets worldwide.  Overall, Ms. Jorgensen is responsible for global strategic procurement, sourcing, and design management for these properties that drives value for FF&E capital and design expenditures, planning and execution.

RAUL LEAL, VIRGIN HOTELS

Raul leads Virgin Hotels and is responsible for the company’s overall expansion, customer experience and culture. In a career that spans 30 years, Raul has held top management positions for Interstate Hotels, Lane Hotels and the Continental companies and is one of the few hospitality industry executives that understand both the lifestyle and branded hotels segments. In between 1996 and 2010, Raul was President and Partner at Tecton Hospitality which owned and operated over 35 full branded hotels and was named a “Preferred Hotel Management Company” by most of the major brands. In 2002 he launched Desires Hotels, a management company focused on the growing lifestyle hotel segment.

JOHN D MCMULLEN, HIGHGATE HOTELS

John D. McMullen serves as senior vice president of Highgate Hotels, a fully integrated hospitality management and real estate investment company. He leads all of Highgate’s development and construction capital projects across the company’s portfolio. McMullen is responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of all development and construction activities of the company, which include ground-up, conversion and adaptive reuse projects.

CHRISTINE M. SHANAHAN, HVS DESIGN

Ms. Shanahan is an accomplished interior designer with more than twenty years of professional design experience.  She serves as Managing Director of Design for HVS Design, an international hospitality interior design firm, where she oversees and manages the design team as well as creates exceptional designs for the firm’s portfolio of boutique and branded projects.  In addition to hospitality, Ms. Shanahan has extensive experience with commercial, industrial, health care, assisted living, and residential projects. Prior to joining the HVS Design team, Ms. Shanahan was a Project Director for an international hospitality interior design firm.  She also founded her own successful full-service interior design firm, Studio East Design. She is NCIDQ, a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH).

ERIK WARNER, EAGLE POINT HOTEL PARTNERS

Erik Warner co-founded Eagle Point Hotel Partners in January 2011 to develop an integrated, specialized, and opportunistic approach to hotel real estate investing.  EPHP combines extensive hands-on hotel real estate experience with deep market and product knowledge to make value-added investments in a variety of hotel assets in high-barriers markets.  In only four years, the platform has consummated ten investments totaling over $400 million in assets.  In 2015 the shop continued to expand with the creation of Filament, a hotel management company providing individualized services to independent and boutique hotels, as well as the expansion and creation of new cutting-edge hotel concepts.  Erik has extensive experience in the hotel real estate sector.  He was formerly a Principal and Managing Director of the CarVal-backed investment firm Ramsfield Hospitality Finance.  He also worked with Jones Lang LaSalle in their hotel investment sales group as well as HVS International, a hotel appraisal company.  Mr. Warner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
