Decorex: An Intersection Between Contemporary and Craftsmanship Design – Program highlights from 2016’s edition.
The 39th edition of Decorex is about to happen and marks the beginning of the London Design Festival. The event will run from 18th to 21st of September and features more than 400 exhibitors across the globe. Decorex present edition focus on tracing the origins of design while acknowledging the inspirations that have shaped the industry in modern times.
The New Craftsmen present the Crafthouse, a series of interactive room-sets exploring the fundamental characteristics of what makes a home by studying the domestic rituals by which we live. The Crafthouse, located in four separate areas within Decorex, will look to reconsider and question craft and how it is used in our lives, with makers taking up residency in each room-set, contextualizing them within a familiar environment and pushing them to the limits of their skills.

Fiona has been sourcing antiques for over twenty years, that’s why she provides a truly bespoke service. Her showroom in central London has an established reputation for elegant and distinctive mid-century design.
