Dubai is well known for its amazing, over the top buildings that light up the whole landscape. Anyone visiting Dubai will be impressed by the city’s skyline and amazing futuristic projects from all over the world. Land of the tallest hotels, the largest shopping malls and the list goes on.  Dubai has a beautiful design combination that define its architecture as modern and beyond impressive.

Downtown Design Dubai, an event that will enable top designers from all over the world to expose their projects in home furnishings, will take place in this October. For that reason, we decided to discover a little bit more about Dubai’s overall architectural influences and design inspirations.

A project by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill it’s famous for its beautiful and unique twist of 90 degrees that make it a truly remarkable sight in Dubai. It has a dynamic waterfront view which depends on its elevation and it doesn’t own  a single structural pillar on its interior. Furthermore, the interior design of the rooms were made in such a way that they wouldn’t be affected by direct sunlight.
