The show will be taking place from June 15 to 18 at Messe Basel in the wonderful Switzerland bringing the international art world together.
Art Basel is one of the leading design eventsin Europe, inviting 291 of the world’s leading galleries and showcasing the works of over 4000 talented artists every edition. What we love about Basel show is the fact that several cultural institutions offer events and exhibitions in the surrounding areas, creating and exciting and region-wide art week.
At the event visitors have an outstanding opportunity to get to know a wide variety of modern and contemporary works from the artists including paintings, drawings, sculpture and even photography. Baselalso presents a great range of projects that may include solo presentations, juxtapositions and thematic exhibits from several artists and artistic approaches.
In this year’s edition several emerging artists will be exhibiting new solo projects, being eligible to receive the prestigious Baloise Art Prize. Besides, leading publishers of editioned works will be present, providing visitors the opportunity to see significant and rare publications.
Art Basel has something pretty interesting for guests this year – Unlimited – a pioneering exhibition platform for projects, including massive sculpture and paintings, video projections, large-scale installations, and live performances.
Regarding the schedules, from 13 to 14 June only invited guests can attend, yet Basel is available for the general public from 15 to 18 from 11 am to 7 pm.
