Studio11 features incredible Soviet Architecture details with bold red walls and modern geometric patterns in Gaming Company Office Design

Studio11 is a group of young  architects and designers that specialize in creating  modern living and public interiors that express individuality and functionality. The Belorussian design studio has already a vast collection of projects, characterized by minimal aesthetics and neat decoration, and recently came up with a unique new design for a local gaming development company.

The project Vizor was inspired by the Soviet Architecture and features bold red walls and modern lighting.  The Vizor offices are located in Minsk, Belarus, among rows of modernist buildings from the 70s and 80s and Studio 11, also based in the city, wanted to reflect the office’s surroundings through a whole new design.

Studio 11 opt out to create a bright, modern, functional office that gives the idea of a dynamic and young company, selecting simple decisions, taking as first principle the color coding of premises. The accent was made on the details: strict navigation, furniture elements and non-intrusive decoration.

The open interior benefits from plenty of natural light. This made it possible paint walls and ceilings in a bold red color, without the risk of overpowering the space.

Flooring was inspired by the Soviet architecture in public buildings, and features a pattern of small tiles in different geometric shapes.

The office’s entrance is defined by rose-colored glass blocks, and is topped with green hanging plants.

The company’s name is displayed on brass sheets. The style, font and material were chosen based on inscriptions found in old Soviet underground stations.

Spherical lamps hang throughout the entire office design, visually joining the two main workspaces together.

One of these work zones is formed by low partitions, while the walls of the second workspace are finished with wood panels.
