Mid-century modern fans, we have great news for you:
Essential Home will be exhibiting at AD Show 2017 the upcoming March 16th!
Another edition of Architectural Digest Design Show is upon us to showcase the most incredible furniture designs from the world’s top interior designers. A mixture of styles and minds where newborns of the industry collaborate with the experts and showcase the most diverse works of art for visitors.
If you have never attended AD Show, 2017 might be the year to consider it. This year’s edition features around 400 brands , many of them recognized names such as Boca do Lobo and others, not so much, and that’s what makes AD Show worth it.
“There are a lot of big brands that you’d expect here, but it’s kind of amazing how many smaller brands you can discover. It’s a free look as an architect at what’s going on in the world of design and what’s emerging right now.” — David Rockwell, Founder & President of Rockwell Group
Talking about new brands, today we would like to introduce you the one-year-old Essential Home, a mid-century modern furniture brand that is conquering the hearts of designers all around the world, due to its high quality materials and elegant shapes. The brand is inspired by vintage and retro references from the 30’s and 60’s adding a few contemporary elements and that’s why we love it so much.
A true harmony between feminine and masculine, bold and elegance, Essential Home is iconic due to its eclectic atmosphere characterized by Matt, soft and cozy tones. Versatile in its designs, their vintage furniture deals perfectly with different ambiances whether luxurious or bold. The brand has confirmed the launch of new furniture pieces that will be showcased at AD Show 2017 , booth 601, and you should definitely not miss.
Essential Home was once a collection by DelightFull, a mid-century modern lighting brand with similar values , but it soon became independent on its own style. This awesome brand has already made its appearance in the international design event Maison et Objet 2017, and oh god they were successful.
Any design professional can recognize the value of good vintage furniture and there’s no way Essential Home can pass unnoticed. Last month we had the opportunity to see up close Essential Home‘s work at Maison et Objet Paris 2017, and one of our favorite pieces was the Kahn Sideboard. The presence of clean golden lines in combination with materials like brass, result in a stunning bold design that we wouldn’t mind to have in our own homes.
Essential home is one of the best mid-century modern furniture brands right now and there’s no doubt their exhibition at AD Show 2017 will be dazzling. So three reasons you need to visit their stand: futuristic, retro and elegant.
