As we already told you in Part I, the ICFF 2018 Event is almost upon us. This top North America’s platform for global design will, once again, map the newest frontier of what’s best and what’s next at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center between May 20-23, 2018.
For the four-day duration of the Fair, the Javits Center will be abuzz with more than 36,000 interior designers, architects, retailers, representatives, distributors, facility managers, developers, manufacturers, store designers, and visual merchandisers that are dying to showcase their products, talents and ideas to an anxious New York crowd. To help you navigate through the event, My Design Agenda compilated 10 Reasons why you should attend the amazing 30th Edition of the ICFF – International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
6 – The Covet Group Will Be Present – With more than 800 brands representing their countries and their own aesthetic, the Covet Group will also be there to exhibit their luxury and powerful brands like Essential Home, DelightFull, PullCast or Brabbu and, hopefully, inspire not only all the professionals which will be roaming around, but also the general public which will be attending on the 23rd!
7 – The First Three Days are 100% Exclusive to Professionals – Although ICFF will run from the 20th to the 23rd of May, the first three days will be open exclusively to professionals such as interior designers, architects, representatives, distributors, facility managers, developers, manufacturers, store designers, and visual merchandisers. The general public will have the opportunity to see all the exhibitors on the last day, the 23rd.
8 – Terry Crews Will Present His Amazing Collection – Terry Crews is no stranger to the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York, and the actor has been supporting and attending ICFF for quite some time now. This time, Crews will once again be one of the event’s hosts, at the same time he endorses his stunning furniture collection line, launched last year.
9 – Don’t Miss the NYCxDesign Awards – In addition to the manual ICFF Editors’ Awards, where the ICFF asks the industries, top editors, to survey the show floor to choose the best of design in each year’s Fair, this year the ICFF will present some new awards. In conjunction with Interior Design Magazine, the ICFF will award the third annual NYCxDesign Awards to the best of the best of the design industry in several categories.
10 – An Incredible Silent Auction – For the first time in the furniture fair’s history, a silent auction will be held in memory of the late Anna Hernandez. The return coming from this silent auction will be going to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and the Anna Hernandez/ Luna Textiles Education Fund Award.
