Where to stay in Stockholm
The Grand Hôtel Stockholm Sweden
The Grand Hôtel in Stockholm has been home to celebrities, high-profile events and everyday bon-vivants since 1874. It was French chef Régis Cadier who took the initiative and founded the first Swedish hotel to live up to the renowned continental-style hotels around Europe. Not only is the Cadier Bar named after him, but his memory lives on in our first-class guest services and love for glamorous events at the hotel.
Hotel Birger Jarl
Hotel Birger Jarl became a modern designer four-star hotel. Young interior architects and designers with established reputations worked together to create several of the rooms, which offer surprising and individual design features. The other rooms also showcase Swedish decoration and style. The lobby doubles as an exhibition hall for artists focusing on Swedish colour, form and design. It was named after the founder of Stockholm and is firmly dedicated to their national heritage.
Miss Clara Hotel
In one of Stockholm’s most influential Art Nouveau buildings, they’ve had the amazing opportunity to use all of their enthusiasm and creativity in order to create Miss Clara. Their great location in the heart of Stockholm offers endless possibilities for you to explore the many great restaurants, exciting bars, shopping gems and hidden corners of this capital.

Ferdsgatan 12
Housed on the campus of the Royal Art Academy, Fredsgatan 12 (F12) is owned by well-known restaurateurs Melker Andersson and Danyel Couet. The decor is complete with Mario Bellini furniture in sea-foam green, lemon-yellow, and cream, while paintings by artists like Diti Almog provide accents of colour. The most unique draw is the 11-course meal centred around a 1666 farmer’s almanack, with entrees such as duck liver with toasted seeds and peach lemonade and langoustines with ginger and dill on rice bread. In warm weather, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace that overlooks Lake Malaren and the Old Town.
Green Rabbit
At the Green Rabbit rye bread bakery, traditional craftsmanship is spiced with new ideas and playfulness. There, they bake their organic rye bread every day, and at the same time help to safeguard the future of rare Swedish grains by finding new ways to use them. In addition to all sorts of bread and baked goods, they also serve breakfast, soup of the day and Swedish varieties of Danish smørrebrød, which can be enjoyed as a takeaway or savoured on the spot.
