The Grand Hôtel in Stockholm has been home to celebrities, high-profile events and everyday bon-vivants since 1874. Housed on the campus of the Royal Art Academy, Fredsgatan 12 (F12) is owned by well-known restaurateurs Melker Andersson and Danyel Couet. The decor is complete with Mario Bellini furniture in sea-foam green, lemon-yellow, and cream, while paintings by artists like Diti Almog provide accents of colour. The most unique draw is the 11-course meal centred around a 1666 farmer’s almanack, with entrees such as duck liver with toasted seeds and peach lemonade and langoustines with ginger and dill on rice bread. In warm weather, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace that overlooks Lake Malaren and the Old Town.
Green Rabbit
At the Green Rabbit rye bread bakery, traditional craftsmanship is spiced with new ideas and playfulness. There, they bake their organic rye bread every day, and at the same time help to safeguard the future of rare Swedish grains by finding new ways to use them. In addition to all sorts of bread and baked goods, they also serve breakfast, soup of the day and Swedish varieties of Danish smørrebrød, which can be enjoyed as a takeaway or savoured on the spot.

Bonniers Konsthall, located in central Stockholm, is a place for Swedish and International contemporary art. Since the start in 2006, Bonniers Konsthall has shown and discussed art from the world over. With its roots in the Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation, Bonniers Konsthall is an independent and non-profit art institution.

The Royal Palace of Stockholm was and still is the place to hear the latest news about the Swedish Royal Family. Join them for an evening viewing filled with some of the most important events in Swedish Royal history. An hour of “who was who” and “this is where it actually happened”.
