Friedrich Ludewig, ACME’s founding director, is in charge of the design direction for all of the firm’s projects. He got his Diploma in Architecture with Distinction (Honours) from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in 2001 after studying at the Technical University and Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin.
Friedrich launched ACME in 2007 and has since turned it into a global firm with more than 70 architects. Hunsett Mill (2009), Beirut City Centre (2011), Melbourne Eastland (2015), Leeds Eastgate (2016), Watermark Southampton (2016), Bumpers Oast (2018); REWE Green Farming (2021), Stratford Pavilion, London (2021), SAB Leipzig (2021), Golda-Meir-Steg (2021), and Canopy by Hilton London City (2021) are among the notable completed projects (2021).
