Gang Studio
–
A collective of 100 designers, architects, and planners make Gang Studio come to life, every day. Founded and led by Jeanne Gang, with headquarters in Chicago and offices in Paris, New York, and San Francisco, it’s truly an urban design and architecture paradise.

Shop
The Shop is where each one of the workers can be hands-on, explore and investigate, in order to push themselves and have their performance elevated.
Rescue Company 2
Located in Brownsville, a Brooklyn neighborhood, this facility was designed for training FDNY’s elite force. The design creates a communal environment for the well-being of rescuers. It offers a venue in its backyard, to promote socializing.
Mira
Right in the heart of San Francisco, this residential building was made to respond to the city’s necessity, when it comes to population density.
The classic bay window, which is a familiar architectural feature in San Francisco’s early housing, is also clearly represented throughout the entire building.
Solstice On The Park
Shaped by the angles of the sun, the Solstice is a twenty-six-story residential development, located in Hyde Park’s neighborhood, Chicago. Its 72-degree angled cuts on the facade maximize sun entry during winter, for passive solar heating.
Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership
The building’s exterior is divided in a tri-axial organization, made with wood masonry, an inexpensive and low-tech way of achieving a high-performance facade.
Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts
This Gang Studio project includes two entrances, one north, one south. A Cultural Living Room is north’s side new acquisition, great for gathering the community. The south side gained an outdoor dining room, that connects the pavilion and park, for the first time.

O’Hare Global Terminal
Designed to celebrate Chicago’s history as a city shaped by lines of movement, this Terminal. The three volumes converge in a central hub.
Comfortable street furniture and lush planters make this a great environment to support music and pop-up events.
Tour Montparnasse
A twenty-first-century Paris asks for a renewed Tour Montparnasse. The monolithic skyscraper becomes a modern design, through this Gang Studio design.

Garden In The Machine
Cicero, the interior-ring of Illinois, needed to be revitalized and that’s when Gang Studio stepped in, joining forces with a team of experts. This project is a response to the city’s large population of immigrants. The Garden In the Machine includes housing and job structures, empowering residents to pursue their dreams.
