WHEN & WHERE
The design event will be held at The International Centre, in Mississauga, Ontario, starting from May 24th to 26th. The last edition saw the presence of more than 200 exhibitors – over 50 Canadian manufacturers – and this year will still be organized by Quebec Furniture Manufacturers’ Association (since 1972!). This year the common purpose of the fair will be the fairly displayed, as the Tony Melis, the show director, said:” Our visitors want to discover the new trends and products being shown by top-notch exhibitors. The 2019 Show draws on the excellence of its many exhibitors, including nearly 40 new ones, that come from all over the world to showcase their best products to the thousands of visitors attending the event”.

This is the place where decisions are taken! Join Linda Mazur, an award-winning residential designer of the Linda Mazur Design Group, and see how the next trends will be picked and elaborated, based on what exhibitors have come to offer. The designer and columnist for the Toronto Sun and Condo Life Magazine will show all he expertise in picking the top design items, regarding materials, fabrics, and colors.
BEST BOOTH AWARD 
The Best Booth Award is back! Participate at the event and discover the most exceptional booth of Canadian Furniture Show 2019. Every year exhibitors make a lot of effort to organize their participation at the fair and even during this edition their effort will be rewarded by a four-panel jury composed by professionals and industry experts: acclaimed designer Maureen Weigen-Liebovitz, expert Lindsey Foster von Kalben, accredited decorator Sharon MacIntosh, and designer Lauren Kosowan. The winner will be announced on May 24th.
INDUSTRY EVENTS 
Starting with an industry cocktail right on the evening of May 24th, the design event’s first day will continue with the CHFA’s Gala where the organizer – Canadian Home Furnishing Alliance – will honor Daniel Walker, President of Jaymar Inc. with the 2019 LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: as a presence in the Canadian industry for over 30 years, Daniel Walker will be awarded for his contribution through Canadian case goods and upholstery design and production techniques. Instead, The RETAILER OF THE YEAR AWARD will be given to La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, a network of 12 stores owned and operated by Paul Hogeboom.
