TERRA COLLECTION BY LLEWELLYN CHUPIN
Splitting her time between Paris, New York, and Mexico City, French interior designer, and creative consultant Llewellyn Chupin draws her inspiration from diverse sources, including her background in art direction for fashion and interior design. For her debut furniture collection, Terra, she worked together with French artisans to produce a set of quietly statuesque lighting and seating pieces made from oak, ceramic and stone.
SOFA TWIST BY NEA STUDIO
Traditionally-trained master upholsterers from Portugal realized the untraditional shape of the foam and wood-framed Sofa Twist by Nina Edwards Anker of Nea Studio.
LAWLESS SOFA BY EVAN FAY
The upholstered Lawless sofa by Evan Fay appears to be struggling out of its brass and steel frame.
CORRUGATED SIDE TABLE BY CHARLOTTE KIDGER
The Corrugated side table by Charlotte Kidger is fabricated from a composite resulting from a study on the lightweight polyurethane foam dust that is a byproduct of CNC fabrication.
WILLOWY CHAIT BY SAYAR & GARIBEH
In this design, they mixed an old Lebanese wicker technique with a new contemporary form. They wanted to push our ability to create an object that identifies what once left behind and reinterprets an existing cultural reference through a new perception of the materials since the rope is naturally dyed with water-based powder terracotta.
