Tokyo Design Products Fair (06-08 July)
Design Tokyo transmits “Marketable Designs”. It is Japan’s leading trade fair for “marketable” design products. Only the products which passed a screening by a committee will be showcased. Source the sophisticated yet functional products!
Lifestyle Week is world’s leading trade fair for lifestyle products, homeware and gifts. It consists of 10 specialised shows, covering various industries. It is the best place for importers, wholesalers, retailers and buyers from across the world to place orders and as well as finding OEM/ODM partners.
In order to respect the concept of the show and to maintain high quality of exhibits, Design Tokyo establishes the Screening Committee, composed of specialists working in the design/interior industry, and only those who are approved will be able to exhibit at Design Tokyo. Paul Galloway, Kazuo Kawasaki, Ryuko Kida, Hideshi Hamaguchi will be part of the Committee at Tokyo Design Products.
New Designers London (06-09 July)
Full of disruptive thinking, ambitious ideas and fresh approaches, New Designers presents the work of 2,500 hand-picked graduate design talents from around the UK. New Designers is the longest running and leading design showcase in the country and they remain determined to champion and support the UK grassroots design sector. This year is its 37th anniversary and will bring together 200 flagship university design courses who will be showcasing the country’s finest design students. Exploring every corner of design, ND provides a focal point for the next wave of designers to meet industry employers, buyers, media, trend predictors and a design hungry public.
The Avenue of Design is inspired by the wildly successful inaugural Como by Design event in 2018, which was the brainchild of well-known interior designer Tigger Hall. The magnificent Como House in Melbourne was ‘reimagined’ by high-profile Melbourne interior designers, each decorating a space of the historic property.
With a return to live events this year, the Avenue of Design at Decor + Design will be a unique celebration of creativity and a platform to showcase the extraordinary talent in the local Australian design community.
Designers taking part in 2022 include Melissa Balzan Design, missmith interiors, Tigger Hall Design, Kimpton Interiors, Justin Bishop, JAM Interiors, Camilla Molders Design, Collette Dinnigan, Julian Ronchi and Maine House Interiors.
