From the 9th to the 12th of October, the Olympia Exhibition Centre was the place where high-end interior design lovers will gather to experience a new era of design. Decorex was founded in 1978 to serve as a meeting place and space for business for elite interior designers. Their mission has changed over time to better reflect the shifting demands of the industry, but their goal has stayed the same for 44 years: showcasing the best in interior design.
PAD London returns to the British capital for a week-long showcase of exceptional design. Celebrating craftmanship and innovation, the fair’s 14 th edition will once again delight art and design lovers with a world-class selection of works spanning Contemporary and 20thC Design. PAD’s ambition has always been to provide inspiration for the most distinctive interiors by sparking a dialogue between art and design, disciplines and periods, past and present. This year’s edition is no exception.
SIA Hospitality Design [12th to 14th October]
SIA Hospitality Design is the most comprehensive showcase in Italy for the hospitality sector: from interior design to gadgets, from services to hotels to technologies, from supplies and accessories to cosmetic products, from outdoor furnishings to planning. Over three days, it brings together general managers, hotel owners, decision makers of international chains and non-hotel accommodation, designers and architecture studios.
Dutch Design Week [22th to 30th October]
Presenting work and concepts of designers to visitors from home and abroad – Dutch Design Week 2022 (DDW22) is the largest design event in Northern Europe taking place in Eindhoven, Netherlands. With more than 110 locations across the city, it organises and facilitates everything from lectures to exhibitions, networking events, debates, festivities and prize ceremonies.
Visitors are getting ready to sail-abrate with boating and yachting exhibitions that are poised to give an outstanding experience throughout the five-day show, taking place across seven locations, including the Broward County Convention Center (BCCC) and the Bahia Mar Yachting Center. This historic occasion, which is organized by Informa Markets and owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF), features more U.S. and international premieres than any other boat show in the nation.
Paris+ Par Art Basel, together with its parent company MCH Group, announced that it has been awarded a seven-year contract to stage a new contemporary and Modern art fair at the prestigious Grand Palais in Paris, following a public competition initiated by the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais in December last year. Launching in October 2022, this new project of international stature will build bridges with France’s cultural industries – from fashion and design to film and music – to create a flagship event that radiates throughout the city and is firmly embedded in Paris and its cultural scene. The new fair will initially take place at the Grand Palais’s temporary venue, the Grand Palais Éphémère, located in the historic heart of Paris on the Champ-de-Mars, until the restoration of the Grand Palais is completed in 2024.
