Luxury Bathroom Ideas
Greg Natale Design operates from its Sydney studio, a custom-designed headquarters that showcases the practice’s refined design approach and inimitable style, with projects ranging from classic apartments and coastal residences to contemporary houses and sprawling rural estates in locations ranging from New York to Oklahoma to all over Australia.
WALSH BAY PENTHOUSE
Greg Natale’s new design and fit-out employ interior architecture, furniture, and accessories to create delightfully fluid lines. The apartment maintains a sense of elegance and comfort throughout, with curves and colors working together to create a sophisticated yet calm atmosphere.
BONDI BEACH APARTMENT
In a palette of pale teal and burnt orange, this renovated three-bedroom 1970s apartment offers a sophisticated take on seaside life, inspired by the surf and sand outside as well as a sequence of Art Deco buildings across the street.
Curves are prominent in the arches and fluted columns used to visually increase the apartment’s size, as well as the rounded forms of the woodwork and the organic lines of the furniture — a mix of contemporary and mid-century pieces.
DAWES POINT HOUSE
The makeover of this four-story, three-bedroom home has luxurious finishes, contemporary furniture, and a modernist palette of pink and grey.
Pink marble in the kitchen backsplash, bathroom vanities, and outdoor terraces add a touch of delicate glitz. The use of fluting in kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom cabinetry, as well as bathroom wall tiles and glass shower screens, and on the terraces, demonstrates an attention to detail in a home that celebrates its delicate palette through its finishes.
WOLLSTONECRAFT HOUSE
The Edwardian-period home was gutted and remodeled, with Greg Natale painstakingly reproducing antique details like paneled ceilings and doors, as well as adding French moldings that, while not typical of the era, form a stunning highlight of the walls. Mosaic marble tiles in the bathrooms maintain the attention to finishing and delicacy of detail found throughout the home, resulting in a luxurious modern home with a serene, traditional vibe.
LURLINE BAY HOUSE
This home is unlike any other beach house, with a refined palette, materials, and layout perfectly adapted to its environment.
The mix of grey, blush, and teal delicately echos the tones outside, giving the area a calm lightness of look and softness of feel.
DARLINGHURST APARTMENT
Greg Natale’s apartment is on the third floor of Sydney’s landmark Horizon building, which was created in the 1980s by the late Australian architect Harry Seidler.
This iteration has grown around a luxurious maroon palette that serves as a dramatic background to a carefully chosen mix of art, vintage objects, modern and custom-designed furniture and accessories.
OKLAHOMA COUNTRY HOUSE
When Greg Natale Design took on the job of architect and interior designer for its rehabilitation, this barn-style, three-bedroom vacation home in the Midwest of the United States was full of potential but entirely devoid of character.
A palette of rich woods, reds, blacks, and plaids was chosen, which was combined with Navajo-inspired décor and furniture.
In this bathroom, dark tones were used on both the walls and the furniture.
INNER WEST HOUSE
The love of the clients for the art-deco inspires contemporary residents to lead to collaboration on a fresh take on this popular property – this time riffing on a palette of blush pink, grey and light timber floors. Furnished with a mix of Minotti and European vintage pieces, the four-bedroom home is adorned with Greg Natale decorative accessories in marble, ceramic and the warmth of polished brass.
This fantastic bathroom with walls in shades of old pink has a fantastic freestanding bathtub, which turns this space into a place of comfort.
VICTORIAN COUNTRY HOUSE
This enormous mansion in Victoria is a rural residence like no other. The glamorous, rich, and seductive two-story, five-bedroom mansion is a treasure trove of brilliant colors and extravagant finishes set against a dramatic backdrop of black-stained oak, ebony, and brass.
AVOCA HOUSE
Greg Natale Design merged rural and seaside influences for the interior design of the two-story, five-bedroom house, which stands on a woodland lot a few kilometers from the ocean.
They chose a brilliant blue, beginning with striking double entrance doors and continuing in a succession of patterned carpets, runners, and tiles, to create a classy beach atmosphere.
To make a contrast, some fantastic black furniture was used in this bathroom.
