The Maison et Objet 2018 event ends Today! Today, My Design Agenda will showcase the exceptional exhibit space curated by this edition’s designer of the year, Ramy Fischler. Just sit back and take a look at The Agora space!
Each year, Maison et Objet Paris chooses visionary designers that bring a whole new look to the trade fair. Fischler was the chosen one and he designed an incredible space entitled “THE AGORA”, which is both a co-working and co-living space where one can network, have meetings or simply just relax.
This space was located in Hall 7 and it’s named THE AGORA. This space became the perfect opportunity for the creator to express himself. With this unique space, Ramy Fischler gave his personal take on how “the workspace of the future” would be. As a whole, this exceptional space will act as a place where one can work, discuss, read, have a drink, take a yoga/sophrology/meditation class, get a massage, and plenty other thrilling surprises.
This unique project showcases Fischler’s visionary and holistic approach to design while offering visitors the chance to commune with one another and establish business contacts in a creative and safe environment.
Ramy Fischler is best known for enjoying questioning the value of a function. The designer follows various steps in his creative process to achieve the final result, including anticipating tomorrow’s behavior, defining the reason and use of each project and visualizing the environment where a piece would be effective, and THE AGORA is a perfect example of this philosophy.
