Designer Of The Year
Maison Et Objet 2022 has elected Franklin Azzi as the designer of the year for this edition! The architect has expanded his skills in architecture, furniture, and urban design throughout France and overseas since the founding of his firm in 2006. The firm’s headquarters are located in a former industrial workshop in Paris’s 2nd Arrondissement. Franklin Azzi Architecture (FAA) employs a diverse team of about 40 people, including architects, interior designers, decorators, graphic designers, art historians, and parametric design researchers, among others. A process of communal reflection emerges as a result of being at the intersection of so many disciplines.
