ABOUT MUNICH CREATIVE BUSINESS WEEK 2019

Munich and Bavaria as a site for creative activities stand for premium entrepreneur-oriented connections between the design and the corporate sector. Organized by bayern design GmbH in the first quarter of every year, MUNICH CREATIVE BUSINESS WEEK 2019 is the largest design event in Germany. Close to 200 committed program partners create a platform for companies with an affinity for design, for designers and design agencies across disciplines, including architecture and advertising, as well as for the design-savvy public.

Following the slogan “Design connects”, more than 75,000 participants will encounter substantial transfer of knowledge and inspiring design experiences in the two program segments, CREATE BUSINESS! for professionals and DESIGN SCHAU! for all other design aficionados.

ABOUT THE EDITION: Munich Creative Business Week 2019 & DESIGN SCHAU

For nine days, visitors are invited to experience, try and understand all facets of design up close. iF DESIGN AWARD NIGHT 2019

This is where the international design scene celebrates: at the glamorous ceremony of the iF DESIGN AWARD at BMW Welt. Following the ceremony, you can party till the break of dawn.

The iF design award night has become one of the leading design events worldwide. 2,000 guests from the design industry, business, culture, politics and media gather to honor the winners of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2019. Every year, the iF International Forum Design GmbH (Hannover) grants this renowned design prize. An independent international expert jury decides on the award allocation. The 75 best designs will be honored by iF CEO Ralph Wiegmann with an iF gold award on stage. Over 6,500 entries from 50 countries were submitted to the competition.
