WHEN & WHERE
The 2019 edition of PAD Paris will take place at the Jardin des Tuileries, from 3rd to 7th April. Renewed exhibitors and emerging artists will all converge in this beautiful place to take part to the fair: visitors of all kind will have the opportunity to visit astounding contemporary art galleries and the possibility to enter in contact with pioneers of the design field, artisans, curators, and art collectors.
Like every year, the focus of this edition will be on the connection between heritage and contemporary art and, in particular, on Primitive art and on giving emphasis to its characteristic approaches and visions. Many are the categories that will be highlighted – always regarding the art and design world – and that will give structure to the event: 19th Century Decorative Arts, 20th Century Design, Contemporary Design, Glass and Ceramic, Jewelry, Mosaicist, Asian Arts, Modern Art, Pre Colombian Art, Sculptures and Tribal Art.
WHAT YOU CAN’T MISS
PAD AWARD 2019
Every year, the Pad jury chooses three PAD Award winners from the exhibitors for the categories Award-Winning stand, Award-Winning Contemporary Design Piece, and Award-Winning 20th Century Design Piece. The selections are based on the level of contribution that the exhibitors brought to the fair with his gallery and the innovation and design perceivable from the works.
STUDIO PAD 2019
The Studio PAD décor of this year is in the capable hands of Alberto Pinto Agency. It has created the PINTO Deck: a perfectly chosen spot in front of the sea where a straw and wood decorated bungalow offers the possibility to relax and chill out from the hectic city.
