Salone del Mobile is only one day away! However, “AQUA, The Vision Of Leonardo “, an installation by set designer and artist Marco Balich, is already open to the public until the 14th. And today, Mydesignagenda is going to show you why this should be a mandatory stop. Take a look at the Leonardo Da Vinci‘ s tribute:
Before the festivities for the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, the Salone del Mobile will present two installations, “DE-SIGNO, The art of Italian design before and after Leonardo” and “AQUA, Leonardo’s Vision “.
”AQUA” is visible on the canal Conca dell’ Incoronata lock. This immersive installation adapted to the place was designed by Marco Balich. It celebrates the originality of Leonardo da Vinci ‘s studies, and it includes a cabinet of curiosities under the structure where visitors are able to experience the energy of water in an autonomous environment.
On the upper level, a stretch of water covers the Conca, completed by a large LED screen that acts as a window on the Milan of the future, showing us a changing skyline according to the time of day.
Beneath this structure, inside the canal itself, is a wunderkammer (cabinet of curiosities) where visitors can experience all the beauty, energy and shape of water, enfolded in image and sound thanks to the use of cutting-edge technology, in a totally self-contained environment.
Don’t forget that this installation is open until April 14th and is located at the Conca dell’ Incoronata. What do you think about this tribute to Leonardo Da Vinci? If you enjoyed this article, don’t forget to check out our other articles about Salone del Mobile!
