Studiopepe is working in a Special Collection for 2020 and today My Design Agenda is going to show you everything!

Founded by the design duo Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, Studiopepe has dedicated itself to the creation of fine furniture, objects, interiors, and more recently to clothing.
Studiopepe was challenged by the renowned European brand Essential Home. They decided to create the most memorable collection, with a unique selection of fabrics and materials, that highlight Portugal’s craftsmanship techniques.
“We noticed there are a lot of affinities with Italy here in Portugal, and that’s is very interesting, the passion for Wood’s Craftsmanship, the etching, and other materials as the glass, the ceramic and so on.”
Just like the mid-century modern brand‘s collections, Studiopepe design gives value to the stories inside the projects to make those projects/products quite unique., in this case, the story about craftsmanship art.
Highlighting the beauty of the mid-century modern style, the biggest challenge for this brand new collection was to not create a scenography scenario, otherwise, the final result could be counter-productive. “We live in 2020, even though I appreciate those ages, we are here, and it is cool to get inspiration from those years, making a re-elaborated version with a contemporary touch, as the Great Gatsby’s house, or inspiration from theatre”, enhanced Chiara.
