These 15 names are definitely ones you can’t miss at the prestigious AD Show 2017 this month!
The world’s leading brands and emerging talents of the interior design industry will come together once again in a curated presentation of design at the 16th annual Architectural Digest Design Show this month from 16th to 19th! For those of you who don’t know, AD Show 2017 has build itself as one of the greatest design events in the world due to its incredible design exhibitions and conferences with more than 400 brands and 40000 design enthusiasts.
This year will be no different. We decided to explore the exhibitors list of this month’s edition and let me tell you it will be something out of this world. It was very difficult to choose only 15 of such an impressive selection of designers and brands, but we managed it. Take a look!
ESSENTIAL HOME

Striking a balance between fine art and relevant design, Andrew Molleur’s current work fuses his inclination toward architectonic elements with an appreciation for minimalism and functionality. He draws on influences from architecture and design, combining clean lines, geometric fragments, and textural experiences to construct his distinct aesthetic.

Robert Sukrachand is an independent designer and furniture maker based in New York City. Since founding his studio in 2013, Robert has combined his background in traditional wood fabrication with an evolving curiosity towards new materials and disciplines. His approach to design seeks to balance craft, functionality, and form.

The David D’Imperio lighting studio is located in a historic 1880’s post office building. Today it incorporates our design studio, metal shop, wood shop, finishing room, and photo studio.It’s an environment for merging traditional craftsmanship with industrial technology.

David Gaynor Design is a design build furniture company dedicated to a contemporary exploration of modernism, material awareness and industrial ingenuity. With a strong emphasis on process, DGD carefully evaluates elements such as proportion, scale, material, technique and context in every piece they make.

DEBRA FOLZ DESIGN

Debra Folz Design is a Providence, Rhode Island based studio, which realizes furniture, tabletop and home accessory objects for exhibition and production through material exploration & conceptual curiosity. With an undergraduate degree in Interior Design from Suffolk University and a Masters degree in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, Debra blurs boundaries between disciplines and their assigned material identities, lending consistent focus to the incorporation of textiles and embroidery techniques with furniture forms.

Wren & Cooper‘s intent is to make fine contemporary furniture, as perfectly as possible from honest materials. Objects that are thoughtfully designed, highly functional and precisely crafted with a focus on simple profiles and graphic detail. They build furniture by hand using traditional joinery methods, making one piece at a time, to customer order.

SCHOOLHOUSE GALLERY

The Schoolhouse Gallery specializes in modern and contemporary painting, photography, and printmaking. Since 1998 they have presented the finest in collaboration and new thought in their Province town gallery space and at a variety of fairs and outside exhibition projects. They represent a roster of over 50 artists from the Outer Cape and throughout the US and Europe while maintaining a large inventory of related works. Director/ Owner Mike Carroll also conducts individual artist’s studio visits with clients.
STEVEN BUKOWSKI

Steven Bukowski is a furniture and accessories designer based in Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY. His work explores the materiality of the design process through the interaction of craft and industry, seeking to form a relationship between the techniques of traditional handcrafting and technology-driven manufacturing.
CHAD WENTZEL

Chad is an artist and designer, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He now lives and works in Detroit. With a love of craft traditions, an attention to detail, and a deep curiosity about mysticism and the psychedelic- the works in Chad’s collections provide beauty for the grown up hippy who who still burns sage while enjoying life’s finer things.
