Several top luxury brands will be represented at Fuorisaloni 2018/ Milan Design Week 2018 and will take advantage of this top event to showcase several stunning novelties. To help you prepare for your visit to their stunning stands, My Design Agenda decided to give you a preview of what you’ll be able to see in Milano from 17 to 22 of April from top brands like Boca do Lobo, Lladró, Baxter, Moooi, Swarovski, Kartell, Fendi Casa, Minoti, Edra Spa and Zanotta!
From Tuesday 17th through the 22nd of April, during the Salone del Mobile, Lladro showcases at the showroom of Milano its spring/summer collection integrated into lifestyle proposals in a perfect combination with Boca do Lobo furniture: two brands for one unique lifestyle. They will host an inauguration’s party that will be on April the 17th, from 18:00h to 22:00h at Lladro’s showroom at Piazza Fontana, 6, 20122 Milano.
Swarovski will return to the Milan Design Week 2018 with exciting new home décor collections from Atelier Swarovski and Swarovski Crystal Palace chandeliers, designed by some of the world’s leading creative visionaries. They won’t be represented at ISaloni, but they will take advantage of their commercial presence in Milan to showcase a new collection.
The crystal giants have a couple of flagship stores in Milan but they are set to provide the full Swarovski experience at Palazzo Serbelloni’s (Corso Venezia, 16) hidden courtyard. Inside a custom-built greenhouse, the Austrian brand will offer a pop-up Daniel’s Café, that will serve Viennese pastries, and a retail shop where visitors can purchase its atelier collections and jewelry. At this improvised stand, Swarovski will also be showing off it’s new home collections that include pieces designed by famous designers of the likes of Nendo, John Pawson, and Patricia Urquiola. They will also showcase some stunning new chandeliers from the Swarovski Crystal Palace brand.
From 17 to 22 April, Moooi travels back to Via Savona 56. A real voyage of discovery, A Life Extraordinary showcases a universe of mystical worlds and points of view inspired by the extraordinary diversity of life. The best of Moooi is at Tortona Design District during the Fuorisaloni.
As always, Baxter will be one of the Highlights of ISaloni 2018 and of Milan Design Week 2018. This luxury brand represents a union among old handcraft traditions, experience and creative energy that has developed and grown up in time, nourished by an endless passion for what is beautiful, well done, thought and carried out in order to convey emotions. Baxter furnishings are chosen carefully and with regard to long-term trends. Their combinations convey natural color variations and provide a harmony of tones. The company looks back at years of collaborations with internationally renowned designers like Paola Navone, Piero Lissoni, Roberto Lazzeroni and many more. They will be at Hall 5 in Stands H07-H11 and L6-L10. During this Design Week they will organize several parties and will participate in various events, namely in the Event of Elle Decor Italy dedicated to Outdoor Furniture (Palazzo Bovara, Corso Venezia 51). They’ll also organize the event Baxter Cinema during every day of the Week at Largo Augusto 1. You can’t miss the Baxter famous Design Party on the only Saturday of the Event.
Unlike Swarovski, Minotti will be represented in the Salone del Mobile 2018/ISaloni 2018. They are a regular presence at this top design event and they won’t miss this year’s edition. This luxury Italian brand will have several stands at ISaloni 2018 for their several departments, including Collezioni and Spa! Their main stand will be at Hall 10 – Stand D 15, where you’ll find on display the new collection inspired by the Chinese Horoscope. This year marks the 70th Anniversary of Minotti so expect to find new pieces at their stands, as well as lavish parties across Milan!
Kartell is another regular of ISaloni and of Milan Design Week. This year at ISaloni, Kartell is presenting a collection of chairs and compliments made of wood. It is called Woody and the designer is Philippe Starck. In addition to this amazing novelty, Kartell will present a strong furniture showcase that includes some other stunning new pieces. Their stand will be located at Hall 20 – Stand A 15 B 14.
The Luxury Living Group will also attend the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2018 with many novelties from top brands like Fendi Casa, Bentley Home, Trussardi Casa and the new proposals of Heritage Collection, Paul Mathieu, and Luxury Living Contract.Needless to say, the Luxury Living Group will make a huge splash at Milan and you simply can’t miss the new furniture proposals and design trends of iconic brands like Fendi and Trussardi. There are the locations of the Stands: Fendi Casa: Hall 7, Stand C25; Luxury Living Contract: Hall 7, Stand E24; Trussardi Casa: Hall 7, Stand C22 – C26; Bentley Home: Hall 3, Stand B08; Heritage Collection: Hall 3, Stand A15; Paul Mathieu: Hall 3, Stand A15.
Founded in 1954, Zanotta is a hallmark of Italian and Luxury Design. They will once again be represented at ISaloni where they will display the best products of its stunning catalog that includes pieces form over 120 minds hailing from 18 different nations. Zanotta collection is characterized by a great heterogeneity, articulated today in over 200 products, amongst which are armchairs, sofas, beds, chairs, tables, furniture accessories, small tables, other furniture, outdoor products, plus numbered and limited editions. Expect to find some novelties there. Discover Zanotta at Hall 16 – Stand A 23 B 16.
Lastly, let us mention Edra Spa. They will be present at Hall 20, Stands B11, C18 and C20. Expect a strong showcase of luxury furniture and luxury sofas with some new novelties that will only be revealed at the event! So even we don’t know what to expect this year from Edra!
