What were some of the trends watched at BDNY 2017? The social media websites were buzzing these past few days with all the highlight interior design trends that pass through the event.

Some more modern, some more classic, all who attended Boutique Design New York 2017 (BDNY 2017) were delighted to see the new interior design trends that were featured by all the brands that were present in this illustrious event. Most of them are already preparing their respective 2018 collections, but their showing at BDNY 2017 proved inspiration has no boundaries and that this year trends may be part of next year’s collections inspiration.

There was a clear highlight on modern furniture with futuristic lines, especially within the lighting oriented brands. The simplicity was also a keynote trend to this years edition, with a lot of brands opting to present more pieces with a clean a sophisticated touch.

Of course, other brands, like Boca do Lobo or Koket, stayed true to their luxurious and inventive origin and presented a strong showing of pieces that represent a more out of the box thinking.
