From 2th to 6th of August it took place, in Las Vegas, another edition of the Las Vegas Market, which represents one of the main events in the Western US of furniture, home décor and gift market; this year it celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Since its first edition, in 2005, it offers a unique cross-section of resources in an unparalleled market destination and seeks to position itself as an unmatched cross-category shopping experience.
This summer edition included 77 of the top 100 furniture retailers – names like Palacek and Robert Maricich -, and it had attracted buyers from all over the West coast.

This single event in USA is characterized for being unique, ideal for people who are always searching for something a little bit different, for showing the latest trends, but also by the appearance of the stands – that look like more boutique-type shopping.
This edition had unveiled new offerings, namely in its gift and home décor section: new summer elements, a new permanent showroom floor for gourmet house wares and specialty food, besides the continued growth of the home décor resources, and a new section.
In this last edition, the tradeshow had gowned in terms of the showcase size, but also in terms of attendance.
However, this event is not only about networking, is also about social awareness. Every year Las Vegas Market tries to offer the industry the opportunity to combine networking with social awareness, with 100% of proceeds from their special benefitting gala – “Gift for Life”. Las Vegas Market is doing its part to unite the industry against AIDS and in the last four years it had raised more than $40.000.
