Villa Mangiacane is definitely a modern classic, combining its art and idyllic Tuscan setting with the splendor of the Renaissance and the modern day conveniences. Built in 1887, this magnificent landmarked 10,000 square foot historic brownstone is one of Brooklyn’s architectural gems. The exceptional detail that has been meticulously restored and the home has been decorated by owner and interior designer Jessica Warren. It is filled with a life’s collection of beautiful vintage modern furnishings, unique objects and museum-quality art; 19th century opulence meets 21st century Brooklyn cool.
The house is ideal for filming with a parlor floor that measures 105 feet deep, and it has been used in the series ‘The Following’, starring Kevin Bacon, ‘Gotham’ and ‘Saturday Night Live’, to name a few.
